“Ticket sans contact” is an extension to your transit application. It enables you to digitalize and secure a transit card on your mobile and securely store all tickets purchased through the transit application - including Wear OS devices for compatible transit applications.
Once both the transit app and the “Ticket sans contact” extension are installed on your mobile, you can purchase transit tickets from the transit app anywhere and anytime. Validating tickets is a simple wave of your smartphone onto a contactless reader or gate.
This service is available for following mobile applications:
• CTS to travel in Strasbourg metropole,
• Ilevia to travel in Lille metropole,
• SNCF Connect, Bonjour RATP and IdFM to travel in Île-de-France (Paris region).
Note that “Ticket sans contact” is an extension. It is therefore not possible to buy tickets from the ” Contactless transit ticket” extension.
HOW CAN I TRAVEL CONTACTLESS WITH MY SMARTPHONE?
1. From your mobile transit app, you are prompted to download the “Ticket sans contact” extension and you are redirected to your mobile apps store.
2. Install “Ticket sans contact”.
3. At the end of the installation you are automatically redirected to your transit application. If not, click on the “back” button on your smartphone.
4. Back in your transit application, a digitalized transit card is created on your smartphone. This step can take 1 to 2 minutes.
5. Purchase tickets or commute plans from your transit application. Once the payment is made, they are securely stored in your digitalized transit card into your smartphone.
6. To validate the ticket, simply approach your smartphone from the validator, a tag or the control device, and the tickets will be automatically recognized, even if your smartphone is off or out of battery.
CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY
• Android 6.0 smartphone or above, equipped with NFC technology.
